Handy ways to solve 3x3 Rubik cube.

Friends, Hope you all are doing well!

Today I am going to tell you how to solve 3x3 Rubik cube by simple way. So, Let's start,

SOME THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND FIRST- Before start let's take small tour to Design and component of Rubik cube. Standard Rubik cube have six side with six colors Green,Blue,Red,White,Yellow and Orange. Before start, please keep in mind we'll take layer as U(Upper), D(Down), R(Right), L(Left), Front(F)and B(Back) All this notation for Clockwise, and for Anticlockwise we'll simply add (') on above.

1) First Check your Rubik cube. Is it proper assembled by maker?

(Actually, I am saying this because, I had tried to solve one 3x3 Rubik cube but later i knew that my son once broke that Cube while playing and he reattached wrong pieces.)

see, First of all normal standard Rubik cube having 6 colours.Green,Blue,Red,White,Yellow and Orange. So If you hold Rubik cube in your hand then First Green color should be on top, Blue color should be at bottom, Red color at your front, White color at right side, Yellow color at left side and balance Orange color should be at back side means opposite to Red.(Here i am talking about

center piece only.)For 3x3 Rubik cube no need to check actually but for 4x4 the above written line will be the first procedure before start solving.

2) Let's start with PLUS sign.

Now, we are going to start by making Plus sign on top. First Keep in your mind you've to start with any one color. Here I am taking Green color first on top. But with Top Plus sign you also need to match side two layers colors also. So, take cube in your hand in that way so the middle green piece should be on top. Now find center green pieces in cube if you get one, first bring green color in bottom side then just match the two layers(means down center and middle center) same color and at last just turn it to the top. You've to do it for all four sides. then you'll see the cube as seen in below picture.

3) Upper layer in one color.

As shown in below picture now we need to gather all the green color pieces at Upper layer.

For that first we need to allocate green pieces in such a way that balance two colors of corner piece should be present in center of the joint sides. Example: In below picture we cannot see is green color on top and as we've talked blue color on bottom.so corner piece adjoining colors are red and white and as shown in picture we need to set this corner piece in such way that both colors are present at corner piece connected sides.

Now the procedure is you need to put away the green piece by turning it clockwise then need to turn vertical left line clockwise then bottom layer again anticlockwise and then left vertical anticlockwise. (Means DLD'L')same if the piece lying at right bottom corner then sequence will be D'R'DR.

You have to do it for all green pieces so at last your Cube will be seen like in Img.3

4) Top two layers in same colors from sides.

As shown in Img.5 we need to arrange all side pieces in such a way that center peripheral line of your cube will be in same color.(as our first line was automatically came in same color when we've arranged the all green colors on top.)

so, the procedure is as we know we have blue color in bottom center, so we need to find center edge pieces in bottom layer in which blue color is absent.so just find that piece, align with side center piece then rotate it like we did it in last procedure. Due to this your top green will disturb so apply same formula like previous to correct it. Do it until your cube not see like shown in Img.5

5) Plus sign at bottom Blue color.

As shown in Img.6 we need to apply the formula FRUR'U'F'. Just keep in mind you should keep position of cube same as shown in figure. I am not going to brief the procedure because the picture enough for understanding.

6) Need to match Top center edge pieces.

As shown in Img.6 we need to match Top center edge pieces with the solved two layer colors. In this you will get two conditions.in first condition you'll get opposite sides matched and in second condition you'll get adjacent sides matched. If opposite sides matched, hold cube However you want and apply formula RU2R'U'RU'R'.Once adjacent sides matched again apply same formula RU2R'U'RU'R'. You'll get result.

7) Top corner pieces to match.

Now we need to match top corner pieces with adjacent sides color. But one thing keep in mind that no need to match color on same side where solved color present. We just need to confirm that if we have red, blue and white in one corner then its adjacent sides should present those colors then it doesn't matter on which sides it present.(As shown in img.7 you can see that all adjacent sides colours are present in corner piece but not on same side.) we have four corners, if all four corners doesn't match apply L'URU'LUR'U'. Once one corner comes put this corner in your right side then re-apply same formula until all four corners not match.

8) Final stage.

 Now we are in final stage to solve our cube. Just apply R'D'RD formula until your cube not completed. Just keep in mind that when you are applying this formula once and your one corner matched then just rotate the top layer only not the position of whole cube.
